Band in the Spotlight: Les Fragments De La Nuits

I mentioned this group in my 2010 year-end list. This is a French ensemble from Versailles, playing chamber music/neo-classical music.
It was formed by two film composers: Ombeline Chardes (violin) and Michel Villar (piano). In order to play live, they expanded their lineup into a quintet with Cendrine Mazzucco (violin), Aurore Moutomé Miath (violin), Ian-Elfinn Rosiu (cello). There are also other contributing musicians: Anne Frèches (vocals), Marion Gomar (vocals) and Christophe Gaurier (French Horn).

They released their two albums, Musique Du Crépuscule (2008) and Demain, C'Était Hier (2010), through Equilibrium Music.

Both albums are recommended if you like beautiful and emotional layered chamber music.
