Recommendation: Combat Astronomy - Barricades

James Huggett is keeping himself busy and us happy.
It was only last April that he gave us Flak Planet, which continued the downspiral descension into the dark recesses of the mind started with previous releases.
In Barricades, an EP of 4 tracks, he shifts lanes and sets himself on a path he describes as "avant industrial space metal".
Indeed, this is metal, something absent from previous releases. Not to say it wasn't heavy music before, but heavy in a crushing, industrial, demented sort of way. Here you get riffs creating vibe and rhythm, but with Huggett's signature.
