Recommendation: Hostsonaten - Summereve (2011, AMS)

The 4th and last installment in the Seasons Cycle by Fabio Zuffanti's Hostsonaten, Summereve is an epic conclusion to the suite and is becoming my favourite of the "seasons", despite me disliking the summer.

Recommendation: Fugato Orchestra - Noe

Stop whatever music it is that you're listening to and play this!

Today I'm featuring a lovely Israeli progressive rock band called Teliof. I bought their album Is It? some time ago, on a whim, not knowing too much how they sounded like or who the lineup was. But the snippets I heard on their Myspace were enough to push me towards buying the album.

Review: Fractale - Suranné (2010)

Julian Julien composes and plays music with his band, Fractale. Here he releases a live album (which I presume is his first Fractale release), called "Suranné", which was recorded in Paris at "Zebre de Belleville". Aside from shows in Paris, Julian says they travelled in the USA in 2009 (Baltimore, NYC, Chicago and Atlanta).

Recommendation: Badawi - The Heretic Of Ether

Badawi is the project of Raz Mesinai, an Israeli musician and composer who also works in other constellations. You can get a much better and profound background on him here and here.
