Änglagård Rehearsing and Start Recording of New Album
How's that for Friday morning news?
Änglagård posted the following on their Facebook:
"Last night the whole band met up again for the first time since 2003. Rehearsed for a couple of hours and started planning live work as well as the recording. We also enjoyed the company of Martin Gustafsson who will be filming and documenting the whole adventure. The countdown has started. Recording starts 10 0 clock Monday morning."
The band will also appear in the USA in 2012, in Greg Walker's FarFest alongside other great bands. I'll do a separate post for that later. For now, let's savour the moment... :-)
Here's their announcement about it from their website:
"Concert time! Greg Walker announced on Progressive Ears that Änglagård will play at Farfest 2012. What is Farfest, you might ask. And where? And when? And do you mean the year 2012 AD or 2012 in some weird Mayan Calendar that places the date right after the end of the world? Well, I don't know all the answers myself, but the best guess is that Farfest will take place somewhere on the east coast of the U.S. in late 2012 AD. Other bands on the billing include Anekdoten and Wobbler, so it should be a big prog party. Just don't give them too much beer before the show."
